File folders, 3 miscellaneous papers of choice from the store.

Supplies Needed:

Embroidery thread, DMC floss, dental floss or waxed linen thread for binding the journal

Ribbon for Enclosure (optional)

Distress oxide / ink - color to go with scrapbook pages (vintage photo always a great option)

Liquid Glue and double sided tape

Embellishments - beads, buttons, lace, fabric scraps, etc.

An assortment of pages for the inside of your book (approximately 15-20 sheets 8.5x11 or smaller - Old book pages, scrapbook paper, lined/rules paper, old music sheets, old maps, graph paper, paper doily, envelopes, etc.....

This is the third class in a series of technical based flower creations.  Each crafter will make five crepe paper spring blooms on short stems and arrange them in a squat marbled vase.  All flowers will be assorted colors and not necessarily as shown in photo.

Hot Glue Gun (low temperature setting will be the best for you)

Finger protectors if you do not have a low temperature glue gun.

 

***Please NOTE – this is a busy class, with many steps to build a flower, you may not complete the arrangement in class, depending on how quick you work.  You’re welcome to stay past 2:00 if need be.  As well you will have enough knowledge to complete the project at home.

This is the second class in a series of technical based flower creations.  Each crafter will make seven crepe paper fringed tulips, with six petals on stems and arrange them in a glass vase.  Crafters will create their tulips in assorted colors.

The flowers in the arrangement created for display & pictures are not shaded, however that option will be available to you during class.

I loved these bird stamps when Tim Holtz released them a while back and I still love them today.

Driving around doing errands, I saw a flock of birds sitting on utility wires and the inspiration for this canvas was born.

Oxide inks, paints, stencils and modelling paste are some of the mediums we will be using in this class.

These cans have been in my crawl space for many years, so I am dusting them off and offering this class.

You will be embellishing the cream cans with poured resin pieces, cream paste sheets, metal hardware, paints and waxes.

All supplies will be included in this class such as gesso, 3D matte gel, paints, waxes, resin embellishments etc.
