From White to WOW ! layout with Charmagne








Have you ever wondered how to create your own individual layout?  No patterned paper, no pre-made flowers, no colours to begin with?  This is the class for you!!  We will explore many possibilities of how to alter and colour materials to make them your own and co ordinate them to suite your photos.  We will dye, ink and create backgrounds and embellishments using stamps and water based inks. Choose your own Tim Holtz Distress Ink and create something absolutely original!

  •  Your choice of Tim Holtz distress ink pad (sample used Tumbled Glass)
  • Basic kit including clear drying glue, glue dots, double sided tape
  • Glossy Accents (if you have it)

  • Blending Tool and clean foam
  • Mini Mister (water spritzer)
  • Tweezers
  • Black felt pen (Tombow or Copic)

Christmas in July!!!


It's time to cool off with a Christmas party!  We are celebrating Christmas in July! It's going to be a fun filled workshop that you won't want to miss!  Four instructors, four different cards, lots of yummy treats, prizes and air conditioning!    





There are two different workshops that you can sign up for.  One is in the morning of July 27th and one is in the afternoon.  Hope to see ya there!

UTEE Beauty Cards, with Bonnie

I have added another date for this class for those of you who couldn't get into the other classes.

Come and participate in this fun technique filled class using utee (ultra thick embossing enamel) and beautiful papers from the Ladies Diary paper line from Graphic 45.

Marvelous and a bit messy, utee is such a fun product to use in your card making.  In this class you will be creating three cards and learning how to heat emboss and “crackle” for an aged vintage look.

CLUB KIDS ABC ALBUM "All About Me" Workshop






 For your children ages 7 - 13 this workshop is a fun creative project which teaches some basic scrapbooking technigues.  The workshop will keep your child busy every morning for a week in July and she / he, will go away with a personal album to treasure.
Note: Please bring scrapbooking tools and supplies if you have some.  Also bring photos for each letter of the alphabet.  When you register at the store ask for the idea sheet and take a peek at the sample album.

8th Anniversary Celebration!


Happy 8th Anniversary
Memories & More!!! 


We've been celebrating here at the store; it's a big bash for Memories & More!  All the fuss and excitement is about our eight successful years and it's still going strong thanks to our amazing customers!  So, we thought we'd set aside some time for fun and appreciation at our 8th Anniversary crop!

The day started with welcome bags and party favors.  Each instructor taught a card class so that everyone went home with four beautiful cards!



 

Ollie made sure to keep everyone in line and on task.   He also acted as the resident guard dog....the place was buzzing with people!

 

Here we are 'making memories' and having a great time with all the customers who made it in to celebrate!


Although we worked hard and shopped hard, there was still time to play!  Lots of prizes and drawings grew the excitement even more!



The prizes, shopping and projects were all great but the food...oh my!  Here is Gina digging in!


Okay, really she was just getting the food ready for everyone.  He he...she knows how to throw a lovely party and everyone had a spectacular time!

 

The best part about it?  We get to do it all over again on Friday, June 22nd!  

If you didn't get to make to one of these events, no worries.  We are having so much fun, we will definitely be finding another reason to celebrate very soon!

Sunny Skies Are Here Cards with Charmagne







I've been having so much fun playing with the new dies from Memory Box and Cheery Lynn Designs!  Come and create a set of stunning cards, creating mini scenic "photos" using dies and punches.  We will be playing with the brand new GCD paper line, "Country Charm" and stamping with Hero Arts.
