Travelling Stationery Set, with Annette

Create this project as a gift for someone special, or for your own travelling stationary set. In addition to the stationery box itself, you will make four standard sized cards, 4 mini cards, 4 gift tags, along with a notepad, a stamp holder, and even a penholder to place inside your box! This particular project has an "oriental" edge to it, as we will be using Kaiser Sakura Park scrapbooking paper and the Hero Arts Asian Frames Clear Stamp set.

The class will run 4-5 hours. (mainly determined by the number of participants)

Andrea has used badge holders to create a cute mini album. Maresa will show you how to paint with Diamond Glaze, [Painted Window Card] and how to use those teeny-tiny little thumbnail photos you get from the photo lab. [Matchbook Mini Album] Hazel will show you how to create beautiful boxes using an intricate origami fold. The origami class will include a pattern for you to take home.

Dates To Remember Mini Book, with Maresa

A practical date reminder book with a truly unique binding. Crate Paper, ribbon, hand coloured acrylic flowers and inking all meld together for an elegant visual treat.

Gift Box, Card & Tag Set, with Cheryl

Do you have a special teacher in your child's life? Or someone special with a birthday coming up? Or just have the problem of never seeming to have a card handy for your loved ones special days?

In this workshop we will be making a box with a cute scalloped lid that houses 6 coordinating cards. We will also be making 12 little tags to go with the cards - you can choose to leave the cards blank and give the entire project as a gift - that way the recipient can decide what sentiment goes on what card. [And it leaves you with 6 extra gift tags!] In addition to this, there is an adorable little journal that coordinates with this project, perfect for thoughts, memories and notes. We will use this funky, fresh Pebbles paper in a beautifully simple way.

Club Cricut: Father's Day Mini Album, with Maresa

Father's Day is almost here! This is the last time that this class will be available. :)

Word books are all the rage, and although this mini album was designed to be cut on a Cricut, you certainly don't have to own one to take this class. Featuring Pebbles Legacy paper and tons of added details, this little book is "eye candy". Bring 3-4 photos with you, and you will go home with a memento this is a great alternative to a Father's Day card.

Wisteria Thank You Cards, with Maresa

It's always handy to have thank you cards in reserve for those last minute "cards emergencies". Purple is one of the hot colours this season, and the Wisteria line from Basic Grey features this trend beautifully. Luscious prints, Hero Arts stamps, and simple, elegant design come together in this set of four thank you cards.

ABC's of Scrapbooking, with Hazel

You do not have to be creative or artistic to preserve those memories forever. Bring 8 - 10 photos of one theme, and build a two page layout in whichever size of scrapbook you would like to do, using pattern papers, cardstock, simple embellishments and a few tips on telling your story. This is a great class to learn how to use the tools and learn the scrapbook lingo as well.

Make & Take Day

June marks our 5th anniversary at Memories and More, and we are celebrating with sales, give-aways, a Birthday Bash Crop and a Make & Take Day.

Spring Organizer Class, with Dawn

This all in one notepad/calendar/paperkeeper is covered with fresh SEI semi-gloss finish cardstock. While making this file-folder inspired piece, we'll play with the Bind-it-All, spray adhesives and a little versa-mark stamping to make it your own. I'm looking forward to seeing some customer's faces once again! It's been a little while!

AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND SPRAY ADHESIVE! It's such a great way to cover chipboard and a can of spray goes a lot further than a roll of tape :-)

*We'll be in and outside all night using the spray--bring a sweater if it's cool out!

Make And Take Day

On Saturday April 4, 2009 we welcome you to join us for four mini classes, running continually from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The cost of each project will range from $2.00 to $4.00. Maresa will be demonstrating the popular Big Shot machine, along with the embossing folders, Nestabilities, dies and embossing plates. We will also be giving away a fabulous door prize and have shopping specials too! Coffee and goodies will be served. Please bring your own scissors and adhesives for this drop-in event.

Mother's Day Circle Flip-up Album, with Maresa

Come to class and learn how to make this nifty album! This is truly a unique mini album, and it's simple design can be adapted to any occasion. This cheery album has been designed using BoBunny Alissa and Double Dot papers. Chalk full of added details, it is the perfect gift for the special Mom[s] in your life. It's large enough to include several photos, but small enough that you won't have to spend an unreasonable amount of time creating another one on your own. This album would make an awesome Brag Book. :)

Spring is officially here, and we are thrilled with the promise of warmer days! In celebration Maresa has made four cute-as-a-button cards using fabulous Hero Arts stamps, and bright and cheery Pebbles Inc. paper. This class includes cards that can be used for Easter, and "just because".
