Pocket scrapbooking is so much fun. It
can be as simple or creative as you wish. Just pick a pocket page
that suits your pictures. Slide them in, and then decorate the
remaining pockets.
For this scrap, each participant will
receive one sheet of the new Simple Stories line “Homespun”.
Love it, and found the paper easy to use for any family situation.
At the beginning of the crop we will
make one 4 x 6 pocket card. The McGill flower tool is so simple to
use, and adds dimension to flowers. We will use it to make two
flowers and embellish the pocket card. The flower centres are brads.
We will take a brad and change the colour by embossing it. Simple
and a great way to use up old brads. Easy, easy!!
Supplies for the crop are:
Basic tool kit including:
- Glue and glue dots
- Scissors
- Tweezers (to hold the brad when heat embossing)
- Paper cutter, and
And if you have it,
- Iced Spruce Tim Holtz distress ink
- Stamp blending tool or sponge
- Fine point black pen, zig, sharpie or other, and
- A McGill flower making tool kit and mat.
