Spin the Bottle – Friday July 15, 2022

Time: 10:00 – 12:30 - Space for 12 Attendees

Cost:  $25.00 plus taxes

Let’s play Spin the Bottle, you choose your ink type and finishing style.

In this class you will create 4 ink sprayed backgrounds and complete 2 cards leaving you with 2 backgrounds to take home and add to your stash.

Ink choices will be the new Lavinia Ink Sprays & Mist Sprays, Dylusions Ink Sprays or Distress Oxide Sprays.  Finishing styles include, Stenciling, Embossing & Stamping.

Note ***Cards on display at the store are for your Inspiration, each card you create will be a one of kind & unique.

Dylusions Sprays

Card #1 – Layered Stenciling

Card #2 – Heat Embossing & Watercolour Crayons

Distress Oxide Sprays

Card #3 – Technique, 3D Embossing & Distress Oxide Ink Pads

Card #4 – Background Stamping Embossing & Vellum Embossing

Card #5 – Water Droplet & Background Stenciling

Lavinia Acrylic Sprays

Card #6 – Silhouette & 2^nd Generation Stamping

 Instructor will supply the following:

Multifarious card stock

Card bases, Mat Layers & Envelopes

Assorted Ink Sprays by Brand & Assorted Colours

Assorted Ink Pads by Brand & Assorted Colours

Assorted Stencils, Embossing Folders & Stamps

 Please look at the card designs as each card uses different techniques and each technique requires different tools.  You will only be creating 2 cards in the class, so you only need to bring the tools for the type of card you wish to create.  Call or E-mail the store with your questions or better yet, come pop by and we can have a conversation and answer any questions you may have.

 Crafter Attendees need to please bring the following supplies:

Basic Tool Kit which should include Scissors, Tweezers, Ruler, Double Side Tape an/or Clear Glue, Bone Folder, Pencil & Eraser, Pick Tool, Craft Mat, Paper Towels, Wet Wipes, Kraft Knife, Small Paint Brush, Medium Size Stamping Block

Gloves (to wear while creating your backgrounds)

 

Each Card Design Requires Different Tools – and NOT ALL are required for class

Stamping Platform – instructor will have 2 on hand

Paper Trimmer – instructor will have 2 on hand

Wink of Stella Pens, if you wish to highlight certain parts of your designs

Water Colour Pencils – if you choose stamping & embossing design – instructor will have a set in class

Imagination and visualization are the key components in this class.  You will create 4 cards, 2 using regular white yupo and 2 with Rangers black alcohol ink paper. 

You will choose 1 alcohol ink colour from the list of 6 provided colours, then you will choose which theme you would like to work with.  There are 2 theme choices along with a sentiment selection.

Please give you colour selection and theme choice at the time of booking.

Alcohol Ink Colours: Crimson, Sunshine Yellow, Ember, Mojito, Turquoise or Wild Plum

Themes: Celebrations – OR – Backyard Garden

Each crafter will be supplied with the following:

·        2 – White Yupo panels

·        2 – Black Ranger Alcohol Ink paper

·        1 – Bottle of Alcohol Ink from your colour choice, yours to keep

·        1 – Bag of assorted die cuts in both white & black, along with sentiments, balance of the die-cut bag yours to keep.

·        4 – mat panels

·        4 – 5x7 white card bases & envelopes

***NOTE*** The cards that are on display in the shop are basic designs.  They are to give you a general idea of what can be done with the die-cuts. 

Here is where the fun begins. Please read below and ask any questions if you have them.

Review the die cut options that will be provided for you, die-cut display boards can be viewed at the store they are only shown in black, remember you will be given both black & white options to pick from.

If you would like to bring any of your own embellishments such as inks, pencil crayons, nuvo drops, glitter/gel/posca pens, bling etc., please feel free to do so.

Blending Solution

Mixatives in the following colours: Gold, Silver & Copper

Craft Mat – to protect the table

Face Mask – this is a must for when we are blowing the ink

Latex Gloves

Hand Pump or Cool Set Air Gun

Paper Towel

Wet Wipes or Damp Fiber Cloth

Basic Tool Kit: Double Sided Tape/Strong Glue, Bone Folder, Tweezers, Scissors
