It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas! with Charmagne

Who doesn't love Lawn Fawn's Christmas release? Come and create four gorgeous cards full of sparkle, pops of colour and adorable animals. Free layout Class with Charmagne

June Stack a Stash, with Charmagne

On the last Sunday of the month, we teach a card class called Stack A Stash and it is hosted by a different instructor each month.

In this class you will make two all occasion cards and two Christmas cards. This class is an awesome way to start a stash of cards, ready to have on hand when an occasion arises.

This month our stack a stash cards are too cute to pass up! Charmagne has created cards using My Favourite Things stamps and Graphic 45's By the Sea Collection. Each kit will include both a colour copied image and a stamped image for your convenience. Learn how to stamp and cut patterned paper to fit your stamped images. She will also be doing a quick demo of how to colour faces and skin using a variety of colouring mediums so bring your colouring tools!

All skill levels welcome!

Pocket Scrapbooking, with Charmagne

Join us every second Sunday of the month for our crop from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will create a feature card for your pocket scrapbook or you can use it on a regular scrapbook page as well. For just $5.00 you will learn a new technique to spice up your scrapbook and crop the rest of the day at the store! Bring your lunch or we can get together and order pizza.

We will also be offering a monthly discount to our croppers on the day of the crop. Charmagne will be hosting our next crop on Sunday, April 13, 2014. You will be learning how to incorporate paper tole/decoupage card images into your layouts. Each mini project will be from Riverbank Revels Glitter Decoupage pad and images will vary for each crafter however the Spring theme will be the same.

Prima Doll Tags with Charmagne

Prima doll tags and stamps have been the rage all Spring and we've finally got our hands on them! Come and create four gorgeous tags using Dyan Reavely quote sentiments, Tim Holtz inks and stains, Graphic 45 papers and more. We will also be exploring the use of mineral spirits and pencil crayons for colouring. No colouring experience is required. These tags are great as a substitute for a card on a gift, to frame and decorate your home or to use as a bookmark. See you on Wednesday!

I've been waiting a long time for a bright and fun filled birthday line and Bo Bunny did it! June Challenge Layout, with Charmagne

We've seen "Ombre" hair on all the movie stars for the past couple years and that gave me an idea...How does one make an "Ombre" layout? This class will focus on creating a stunning layout with gradual colour change and delightful embellishments to help draw ones eye across the page. We will be playing with Stampendous' Aged Embossing Powders, Heidi Swapp's Colour Shine and lots and lots of butterflies. See you there!

March Stack A Stash with Charmagne

This class has been so popular, we have added a new time. We are now offering a morning class as well as the always full afternoon class.

What is Stack A Stash? Are you one of those people who, come November, are completely stressed out because Christmas is coming and you haven't even contemplated starting your Christmas cards? How about those last minute Birthday cards, do you have spares on hand?
Once a month we will be offering Stack A Stash, each month hosted by a different instructor. In these classes we will be making easy cards that can be adapted to any paper or sentiments.
These classes will be shorter, so that busy people will have a better chance of fitting them into their schedules. The class will always be the last Sunday of each month, so you can know well ahead of time when the classes will be offered. We will always do one Christmas card, and one all occasion card, but will do TWO of each design for a total of 4 cards per class.

Come to one class, or attend as many as you want. All skill levels welcome.

March Layout Challenge: Dylusion Sprays, Lumiere Paints and Mixed Media

Get ready to get those fingers inky and sticky! This layout class is all about getting down and dirty with sprays, paints, gesso and embossing paste. Come and try out Dyan Reavely sprays while creating multi surface backgrounds for your photo layout. This is a technique laden class is made for all skill levels. Each layout will be very different depending on your colour choice and design. Please wear an old shirt when you come to play...this is a messy class!

"Capturing Kids" is a layout class that I will be featuring each third Sunday of the month giving parents and/or grandparents a chance to catch up on scrapbooking our little ones in our lives. This holiday paper season is full of gorgeous colours and patterns that are too hard to pass up for a class! Have you ever wondered what to do with the 12x12 border strip sheet that some paper companies add to their collections? This class will explore how to use up that sheet to create stunning holiday cards and tags. We will be using Echo Park's "Winter Wishes" paper line as well as Stampendous's sweet stamps. Included in your kit will be stamped images or a colour copied set of images to use if you like. Don't miss this class...we will be using glitter, flock, glossy accents, stickles and snow writer.
