Welcome Baby Cards with Denica

Make these cute baby cards using Peter Rabbit inspired colours! In this class you will make one of each card and have a little stash for those wonderful moments. We are water colouring images from the new Bunny Tea Time stamp set from Open Studio.

Supplies needed for this class:

Basic tool kit including detail scissors
non stick craft mat
foam dots
liquid adhesive
a large stamp block to use as a palette
White gel pen
small water colour brush or paint brush and a small container for water
Water colour pens (Tim Holtz Distress Markers or Zig Clean Colour pens) in the following colours:

Zig Clean Colour:

Northern Winter Cards, with Maresa

In this class we will be making all occasion cards that can be customized to suit any occasion, but will be especially suited to masculine birthdays etc. [I will be providing a variety of stamps for you to choose from.]

We will be creating our own backgrounds, with emphasis on masking and resists. This technique can be easily reproduced using any colour scheme of you wish, and will be a great addition to your crafting arsenal.

- Basic tool kit, including
- pop dots [both 1/16" and ⅛" thick recommended]
- adhesive FOAM tape, or 3mm white fun foam [available for purchase at the store]
- paper trimmer, to cut fun foam
- Mono Multi glue [or a clear-drying brand]
- Fine tip glue pen or Ranger Multi-Medium Matte
- scissors
- tweezers
- Scotch tape
- lots of baby wipes and paper towels

Recommended to bring: [These are items that IF you should have them, please bring them. I will have supplies to share with the class, but having your own is always a time-saver.]

- non-stick craft mat

- Silver Stickles and a "clear" Stickles of your choice

- an opaque white pen

- Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Peacock Feathers, Dusty Concord, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass

- 4 ink blending tools w/ foams, or 1 ink blending took w/ 4 foams

- Memento Ink: Elderberry
- adhesive pick-up square

Carta Bella has created a beautiful line of baby papers that inspired these baby mini albums.

The details in these minis are incredible. There are pockets, tags from 1 month to 12 months, magnetic flip ups and pages to hold tons of those precious photos.

You will receive everything you need to complete the boy or girl album including magnets and a 12 x 12 sticker sheet for embellishing.

Please specify Boy or Girl when you register. Class participants may order extra kits if desired.

Sook Wang double sided tape; (I used 3mm, 5mm, 7mm and 12mm so bring all the sizes you have)
Brayer if you have one
Lunch and water/drink (we will stop for a break)
