May Stack-A-Stash Cards

You will be creating two of each card design during May's Stack-A-Stash class.  The Christmas card is cut using a Sizzix die that cuts and scores for a unique card design.  Using Spellbinder dies, glittered specialty paper, bling and Just-Rite stamps you will complete the embellishing for a quick and easy card!  If you feel confident in your inking skills, a light touch of Chipped Sapphire can be used to enhance this card.
The card featuring the clock die set from Spellbinders and coordinating stamp set from Unity Stamps can be used for a variety of occasions.  The sentiment stamped inside reads "Every moment in time is a gift and a blessing."  We will be using Craft-t Metallic Rub-ons to enhace the embossing on the clock and our paper distressors and Antique Linen as well as Brushed Corduroy Distress Inks.

Date:  Sunday, May 27th
Time:  1:00 pm to 3:00 pm   (Sold Out)
Cost:  $18.00 class

What is Stack-A-Stash? Are you one of those people who, come November, are completely stressed out because Christmas is coming and you haven't even contemplated starting your Christmas cards? How about those last minute Birthday cards, do you have spares on hand?

Once a month we will be offering Stack A Stash, each month hosted by a different instructor. In these classes we will be making easy cards that can be adapted to any paper or sentiments.
These classes will be shorter, so that busy people will have a better chance of fitting them into their schedules. The class will always be the last Sunday of each month, so you can know well ahead of time when the classes will be offered. We will always do one Christmas card, and one all occasion card, but will do TWO of each design for a total of 4 cards per class.

We Know How to Celebrate!

 ~ What A Celebration! ~

We had such a blast at our National Scrapbooking Day Celebration last weekend!  As matter of fact it was so fun that we are already planning our next event (more on that in a bit!)

The morning was full of goodie bags and extra surprises.

Everyone was hard at work on the 2 page layout as they learned some new techniques and got to play with some gorgeous papers!

Of course, nobody worked too hard that there weren't time for giggles and chatting!

And of course, there was time for food!

And lots of prizes!! Including a GRAND prize...and it was definitely GRAND!

After the layout class and a scrumptious lunch, everyone was able to visit while working on their own projects for the afternoon.

Food, friends, fun and lots of scrappy stuff...who could ask for more?  I certainly enjoyed teaching the class and have had a great time getting to know some of these ladies.  Here is a photo of the kit that was in the goodie bags.

I hope everyone enjoys putting this one together as well.

 ~ Layout Challenge Contest! ~
