April Stack a Stash, with Maresa







On the last Sunday of each month, we teach a card class called Stack A Stash. Each month you will make two all occasion cards [theme to be determined by the instructor] and two Christmas cards. This is such a great way to start your stash of cards, and have them on-hand when an occasion arises.

This month you will be creating two Christmas cards, and two all occasion cards.  This butterfly card can be adapted for pretty much any need, just by changing up the sentiment stamp.

- Mono Multi glue [or a clear-drying brand]
- Fine tip glue pen or Ranger Multi-Medium Matte

- a clear Wink of Stella pen [if you don't have this, or choose not to purchase, you can omit on the cards]







- Tim Holtz Distress Markers: Scattered Straw, Candied Apple, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick

OR
- coloured pencils or markers, the brand of your choice, in equivalent colours, but bring something to use!  NOTE:  We will be using regular Neenah cardstock, not watercolour cardstock!

ABC's of Scrapbooking, with Hazel



Do you want to get your precious photos out of the shoe box or off your computer? For those of you who want to get started, this class covers some of the basic techniques required. During this class you'll create a 2 page spread while learning how to crop and mat your photos. Please bring 8 to 10 photos of one event or subject to class.

Welcome Baby Cards with Denica








Make these cute baby cards using Peter Rabbit inspired colours! In this class you will make one of each card and have a little stash for those wonderful moments. We are water colouring images from the new Bunny Tea Time stamp set from Open Studio.

Northern Winter Cards, with Maresa



In this class we will be making all occasion cards that can be customized to suit any occasion, but will be especially suited to masculine birthdays etc. [I will be providing a variety of stamps for you to choose from.]  

We will be creating our own backgrounds, with emphasis on masking and resists. This technique can be easily reproduced using any colour scheme of you wish, and will be a great addition to your crafting arsenal.

The details in these minis are incredible. There are pockets, tags from 1 month to 12 months, magnetic flip ups and pages to hold tons of those precious photos.

Sweet Sentiments, with Maresa






Valentine's Day is right around the corner! If you need a card to give to your sweetheart, one of these would be perfect; however, you can easily make all-occasion or friendship cards by swapping out the sentiments. [There will be a assortment of greetings to choose from.]

We will be covering numerous quick and easy techniques to create texture and dimension on cards, including a shaker card.We will be using oodles of new product, awesome new paper, and tons of new dies, including the adorable scallop dies from My Favorite Things.

If you can't attend class you can always order a kit, as I'll be including a photo tutorial on how to make a shaker card with the usual card assembly instructions.
