What better way to make your cards more unique than to create your own patterns and backgrounds? Break out your white acrylic paint and stamps cuz this class is all about recreating your artistic slate! Change plain cardstock to beautiful patterned paper just screaming to be textured and whitewashed. These three beautiful cards challenge your creative side and inspire you to add your own 'signature' to your artwork. Various sentiments will be provided to choose from.
It's time to pull out your Acrylics and background stamps for this class! Come and explore the endless possibilities that stamping brings to your scrapbooks. We will be creating various backgrounds and textures to enhance your pages and highlight your photos. Learn how whitewashing can create a soft and appealing 'feel' to your artwork. This class is an inky one so you may want to bring your latex-free gloves for this one!
In this class you will use the Big Shot for all 3 projects - a glitter card, a stenciled card and a gift card holder. The Glitter Butterfly will show you how to use any image cut from your Big Shot with glitter with the next step from Peel-offs. This technique will give you another great use for your dies. Both of the other projects use dies from the Mariaane design Creatables line. The bird card will focus on embossing and stenciling, while the gift card holder will feature the tip for how to use intricate dies and successfully remove the image and all pieces from the die itself.
This lovely rose, wood & lace paper by Dream Kuts lends itself to a wide variety of subjects / events with just a few embellishments. I have incorporated lace, ribbon, embossed paper & Stickles. You'll love this layout for wedding, graduation, birthday. Christmas, anniversary or heritage.

We will show you how to demonstrate, teach and sell Copic products. You will receive a complete curriculum filled with a 68 page manual, techniques and class instructions, as well as a teacher’s kit of products for demonstration (11 Copic products valued at $85.00 US MSRP) which includes one of each type of product from these lines. You will have an opportunity to use all of these products hands-on as we cover their function and differences between each one.
You will learn about three common mistakes and how to identify, test and use your materials.
You will learn four different blending techniques.
You will learn how to create texture and erase mistakes
You will learn how the markers are labeled - with what I personally like to refer to as The Copic Periodic Table of Colors.
You will learn how to choose colors that work well together from the Copic Color Wheel - which I personally refer to as the Galaxy of Copic Colors.
You will have an opportunity to airbrush with both the ABS-1 and the Air Compressor / ABS-3 setup and understand how each works.
